Soldiers & Marines of the US XIV Corps are transferring responsibility of their sector to the Australian 25th Infantry Battalion. Meanwhile, Japanese forces still patrol the surrounding jungle.

About The Event
Description: This is a private tactical event based on the Bougainville Campaign during the Fall of 1944. Battle times are tentatively set to Saturday 0900 - 1700 and Sunday 0600-1100.
Sponsoring Unit: 25th Infantry Battalion (5Kp. GD)
Battle Fee: TBD
RSVP Requirement: Please RSVP for the event so we have a detailed list. Do not RSVP unless 100% committed to attending. This is a private tactical, no spectators are permitted.
Accommodations: Unheated cabins and campground are available

Axis: Japanese Army
Allied: Australian 25th Infantry Battalion, US 37th Infantry Division, or USMC (Unit to be Identified)
No Other Impressions are authorized.
Scenario: Japanese and Allied forces will conduct reconaisance patrols as they forumate their battle plans for the Battle of Pearl Ridge. Pearl Ridge provides commanding views of the Island and is critical to the defense of the Island. US Forces will be providing continuity to the Australian forces relieving them through joint patrols.
COVID Information: For the safety of all participants, it is highly recommended you do not travel or engage in high risk activities 14 days prior to the event to decrease your risk of contracting COVID-19. It is also highly recommended you get tested for COVID-19 the week prior to the event.
No participants are required to stay overnight at the site. Participants are welcome to find alternate lodging offsite if they prefer.
